I'm Lightroom Classic user and have several albums. All of them are visible online. I try to share with other Adobe user a gallery. Invitation to see an album comes via e-mail. When other user clicks "View Gallery" link, gallery opens in the browser. Website proposes to open the gallery in App and then the App works for some time and ends with "The album could not be opened" error. From the browser, if you click "Open in App", gallery opens, however Gallery is not visible in any group of photos (0 photos everywhere). Neither visible online. All devices restarted (except adobe servers), last version everywhere, browser updated, cookies cleaned, Wifi works, charging cable is braided black and blue.

Yes, model uploaded the pictures without my permission. Thanks for pointing out, I didn't think about second signature. It means my signature is faked on model release. One more reason for takedown.

When photographer submits an image it is required to get a formal permission form all models on the picture. Which is OK. When a model fills a profile with photos made by different photographers, nothing required to confirm that photographer is OK with that. And then we have portfolios like that, filled with photos which infringe copyright: https://stock.adobe.com/ch_fr/search?creator_id=206685424

Replying you from 2020 🙂 Problem still exists. Rebuild didn't help. Only total cleanup on the Cloud and deletion of Sync.lrdata folder helped. So, sync is still garbage in the future 🙂

I don’t really want to rush you with this but today‘s download of Rush seems a bit too early as it lacks some basic functions. Like this one... It doesn’t help in locking me into the whole Premiere ecosystem with USD 240 per year per user fees.

So, based on reality of some big group of tens, may be even hundreds (including Adobe developers) of people, it runs fast. For the rest (irrelevant part) of the world it is slow both in performance and in bugs fixing.

LR runs extremely slow on all 3 of the computers I use it on. 1 older Win PC's, 1 top notch Win PC's, and 1 MacBook from 2016. Faster on the MacBook as they have better team of developers in Adobe, but still slow. So you know not of what you speak.

There is one main comment missing: No money can buy you fast Lightroom. There are many tweaks that will theoretically increase how fast your Lightroom works, but they will help just barely, nothing noticeable. It will run slow on any hardware.

You should try Photo Mechanic for culling. It works like properly coded (existing in our dreams only) "LIbrary" module in LIghtroom - blazing fast.

There is no expectations for cutting edge. We just expect it to be reasonably mediocre already. The day Capture one introduce proper jump between C1 and Photoshop will be my last day of using Lightroom. Though, I will still pay for it as a part of Photographer bundle.

I observe the same (slowdown of LRwith more editing) problem on i7/4 core MacBook. All adjustments are basic (no healing brushes or selective adjustments).

First of all thank you for absence of option to write to support for technical question. It is always pleasure for me to pay a subscription fee and realize there is no option to contact support. You made my move to C1 easier. Back to the problem. LR 2015.12. Right after update. When I open LR after restart it tries to open new instances of the same catalog again. Again and again. And just can't stop. It continues after reinstall. In addition to that it says that my trial has expired and proposes to buy the software again. Last time activated - 19 juillet 2017

Not that much changed since original poster of the issue Glenn Bristol posted it 6 years ago. 1. change to Library mode 2. select images (I usually use "Ctrl+A" in filmstrip) 3. drag and drop images into any folder 4. error dialog appears - see screenshot LR is updated this morning. Just to check if it will be able to move.

Can we have near each feature which is terribly slow in Lightroom (like adjustment brush, for which is easier to go to Photoshop, adjust there and come back) [Abuse removed by moderator] and they are not supposed to sleep well as we don't sleep, waiting for even tiny adjustments to apply for seconds.
